Many children have been asking if they can have a shop at after school care and sell some items to raise money. After much discussion we have decided to do some fundraising for the Mix 106.3 Special Children’s Christmas Party. Commencing today and concluding next Tuesday we will have some little stalls at After School Care where children will sell some of their creations and other fun things that children/ parents may like to purchase.

We are commencing with a lucky square competition – Children, parents and anyone else who wants to participate will purchase a square by paying some money and writing their name on a square – next week at 5pm on Tuesday we will do a draw and squares will be pulled out of the box – the name of the person on the square will get to choose a painting. There will be two different categories of squares – be in the running for a large canvas completed by the children these squares will cost $5 and then we have a lot of smaller canvases that have been completed by the children and these squares will cost $1 to purchase. To win a great canvas all you need to do is buy a square.

Other days between now and next Tuesday we hope to have other items for sale including homemade treats, guess how many lollies in the jar etc so please bring your loose change along when picking up your children. If you only attend Before school care you can still participate we will organise some helpers to display and sell the squares in the mornings also. We need to fill up our giant jar with lollies so if you would like to donate some that would also be great.
