The Forrest Parents and Citizens Association is an active and effective parent body within the school organisation. It meets monthly and is crucial in supporting the school financially and socially via a variety of functions throughout the year.
The Forest P&C is responsible for the provision of services to the school community including:
- before and after school care,
- vacation care,
- the uniform shop and
- the canteen.
Any profits from these services are contributed back to the school community either via a financial donation to the school or through the purchase of resources such as the sand pit in the junior school area. Further the P&C also is a forum to discuss issues more broadly related to the school, such as facilities, resources or information sessions for the school community.
More information about the Forrest P&C can be found on the newly improved website http://forrestpandc.com.au/ which also contains details about all the Forrest P&C services.
